In trying to capture the density of Hong Kong at eye level, I found myself climbing up to the top of buildings to find a more interesting vantage point. Many of these buildings have a code on the door, so waiting for the door to swing open, sticking your foot in the door and sneaking in is essential. Once inside the buildings, giving a confident nod to the security officer and quickly racing up the steps to the rooftop is also paramount to gain access to these heights. Looking down on Hong Kong provides an unique perspective on this vertical metropolis and also gives an idea of how a tightly packed city operates on a day to day basis.
